Billing questions
The parts people usually email us about before signing up.
- What happens if I go over my plan?
- Nothing breaks. Recalls keep working and overage is billed at four cents per thousand, or we email you about moving up a plan if it looks permanent. Ingestion is never throttled.
- Do stored memories expire?
- Only if you want them to. Decay lowers the ranking weight of old, unconfirmed facts, but the memory itself stays until you delete it or hit your plan limit, at which point the lowest-value memories are archived rather than dropped.
- Can I switch plans mid-month?
- Yes. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next cycle so you never lose access you already paid for.
- Is there a discount for startups or research?
- Teams under ten people and academic research groups get Pro at no cost for the first year. Email us from your work or university address and we will switch it on.
